Couture's Graduation

He did it! We are so proud of him. Couture has come such a long way. We feel more comfortable with him and he listen's to us so much better. We're not done with the obedience training, but this was such a wonderful and succesful journey!

In tonight's Graduation class, he was able to stay in the "down" position for 3 mins, "sit" for 1 min, go through a 10 station rally course, and able to socialize nicely with the other owners and dogs at the end of class. He really looks like he enjoys class. He worked very hard at being "teacher's pet" in every class!

Marathon- Oct. 7, 2007

We ran the Marathon and finished! We were hot and sweaty, but we had an awesome support team cheer us on.

Steve surprised me with a great tshirt he made and even ran my toughest 3 miles with me! Stay tuned...my brother and I are talking about doing the marathon again next year and doing a mini triathlon!

Day in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

We started our day in the zoo at 9am.

Then took the Coors Tour. We learned how beer was made and visited the Brewery. After the tour they let you taste the beer. They give you these big glasses and let you try 3 different types of beer. Steve and I hate beer and barely even tasted them. ICK! But that wasn't everyones thoughts on the beer tasting... :)



We then had lunch at the Safe House. It was a place where a spy would have lunch. Its got a great spy theme. Getting in and out were extremely tricky! "A spy never exits the same way they enter!" Minimal menu but quite an experience, the decorations were great!

This is just an example of some of the props. Others were secret passgages, bullet proof glass, and 2-way mirrors.

Finally we went to the Brewers game. It's an indoor baseball field with a retractable roof and a TGI Fridays located inside. We went up and had appetizers and dessert while we watched the game. Very cool field.

Well we had a wonderful visit from our friends, Andy & Jenny. (Our first friends as a married couple!) We had good times and some good eats!

Summer Freedom

We have been enjoying our summer off! We have been going to movies, hanging with friends, playing games, been to Miami, been to 6 weddings, etc. We love the freedom of not having to work! We are definately not excited about work starting back up in the end of August!
