First Christmas 2007

Tradition dictates that we gather Christmas morning to open gifts and be with our immediate family. This year we had new additions (Mandy & Steve).

Then early afternoon the rest of the family comes to hang out and share gifts.

Christmas Eve 2007

We spent Christmas Eve building a Ginger Bread house. It was messy with candy and frosting everywhere. We were all hard at work building our respective homes. :)

And quite pleased with the outcome. It was a really fun night!

Our First Thanksgiving (hosted and married)

It was an incredibly cozy Thanksgiving. Our apartment was small but filled with food and love. We loved hosting Thanksgiving and truly enjoyed our first one as a newly married couple. We created a paper tree and had each person write what they were thankful for on a leaf (that Natalie cut out). Most the leaves stated being thankful for family, time together, and God's amazing blessings.

Thank you for those that were able to come and hopefully next year the entire family can be together.
