Here is our special little gift from God. Liam James McWade was born at 9:38am on Thursday April 22, 2010, which happens to be Earth Day. He weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20 inches long. Natalie did an amazing job during delivery. Things got a little scary for a while, Liam's heartbeat dropped very low and they had to use forceps to get him out. But he came out, screaming, with his eyes open. The nurses claim he looks like me, but I think that will change in a few months.
He is SUCH a blessing to us, Natalie and I are so happy.

Congrats Natalie & Steve on baby Liam's arrival! I wasn't sure if this was still an active blog (I thought I'd remembered that you were due to deliver around this time) and on a whim decided to check out, glad I bookmarked the link ;-). Our daughter Audrey Grace is 7.5 weeks so Chris and I share in your new found joyous feelings of parenthood. May God bless your new family in this time of transition and for years to come. ~ Grace
